Very tasty food. I find the furnishing style in the back part very nice and cozy and has a long charm with cupboards and tables.

Very tasty home-style cuisine. There is a small menu but everything is fresh and tasty. Price-performance ratio is great and the service is very nice.

Food was delicious and a great value. The ambiance was cozy and wa=m. It transports you to a world of imagination! It is decorated like a steampunk, victorian inventor's office. Incredible works of art everywhere you look!

Rooms were not clean, you have to twirl around the open doors of the restaurant and the bar on the way to the room. One should think of sliding doors. The water in the room could hardly be regulated, either boiling hot or freezing cold. WLAN didn't only work when I asked "Oh, someone pulled the plug. Food was good to very good, but only a small selection of schnitzel and burgers and salads.

We wanted to reserve a table for dinner the following day and only got through to AB. That's not a bad thing when there is a lot to do. Unfortunately, as expected, there was no recall for the message.

Food was very good. At the children's meal, the fish fingers were done, but not quite as crispy. The farmer's burger is great, it even comes with a really good grain bun (unfortunately that's not on the menu)! The atmosphere outside is really nice. The sanitary facilities are also okay, with a small changing area for the little ones in the ladies' room. The staff was very courteous and quick.

Very friendly service, good food. Although we hadn't pre-ordered, we had the option to eat here. Very interesting and multifaceted interior.

An almost empty cafe and inn. As cyclists we only wanted to have a few drinks (coffee or something similar). Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take a seat without ordering food and had to leave again. We then went to the ice cream parlor across the street and could see that the restaurant and cafe didn't fill up any further. Very clever. But since we would be turned away very friendly, there are still 2 stars. Addendum to the operator's answer: The writing Gasthaus and Cafe is attached to the building. I exchanged this for the improper use of the term beer garden.

In short: super cozy, super nice staff, super clean as seldom experienced. Breakfast 1a. Surroundings worth seeing. Our tip: BOOK.

After a hike of several hours, I spontaneously got a table outside and was very accommodatingly looked after. The food was delicious and the price was absolutely okay. In addition, the restaurant is very well maintained and cozy in all areas. I am happy to recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

Great snitzel hamburger with bacon!

We were guests in the restaurant and both ordered 250 grams of steaks with a salad. The decor is not my style, it's a matter of taste. Salad, delicious as well as the steak. Traditional homemade food, exquisite! Correct price quality correlation. Very nice place with homely atmosphere. Very friendly staff (they also speak English).

We were there for the first time today and ate very tasty in a cozy atmosphere. Service was also very friendly and attentive. Personally, I think it's great when you're asked after the first bite if it's tasty. Only then can you report criticism and the kitchen can react. What comes after doesn't count :) best regards

Wow, what a super nice restaurant. The decoration reminds me of a professor's workplace. Very nice things are there! And the food is really delicious. Friendly service and not super expensive.

The hot water is a little bad (it is often overseas), but it is a tasteful inn, and the very friendly staff doubles as a hotel and restaurant, so you can relax. The price is reasonable and good

Highly recommended. We have always felt very comfortable here and like to come here often. Quiet, central location. Rustic rooms. Quaint ambience. Very good kitchen with (not only) Eifel specialties. Friendly, attentive service. The boss is an original. And yes: great scenery right next door ... Ulmener Maar, Jungfernweiher, ... much Eifel, pure nature.

Super hospitable, nice and personable. Pleasant atmosphere. The food is a dream. The hotel has everything you need. Well-kept and clean, good WiFi. Seldom had such a nicely arranged and rich breakfast.

This was a nice surprise. My room was quite big & clean - I slept like a baby....Restaurant was good....cold beer was better , especially after hilly 10k run. I was amazed by the breakfast room - what a historical treasure trove! Value for money? Absolutely. A boring business hotel would have cost me double. The square in front of the hotel is a nice place to sit and the lake just a couple of minutes walk is beautiful. I'll be back!

I was there for diner. The food was good but not special.

Great ambience, great service and very good food. If you do not stop here, it is your own fault. All thumbs up. Am thrilled.

Great smalltown hotel where they know how to make feel genuinly welcomed. The steak in the restaurant is to die for.
